To qualify, a candidate must

- Be a permanent resident of India
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an institution listed in the top 100 of the government of India’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)
- Possess a grade-point average equivalent to a UK first-class degree
- Submit a complete application for a full-time master’s degree at UCL by 5 pm BST, Thursday 29 February 2024.
There are up to 33 scholarships available for the academic year 2024-25. The £5,000 bursary can be applied for one year or 50 per cent each year for a two-year programme.
The scholarship can be held alongside other scholarships, with adjustments based on total funds received. The funds are applied first to tuition fees, with any remaining amount provided in three equal instalments for maintenance.
Successful candidates for the 2024-25 academic year will be notified in mid-May 2024.
Applicants are automatically considered upon submission of a complete admission application to UCL, cutting out the need for a separate application form.
